Until 2010 only Key Starting Materials of Pantoprazole were being produced at the  site.

JV felt the need to expand the scope and enhance its competitiveness. Thus, the newly expanded API manufacturing facility emerged as a hub for global supplies of APIs for its branded generic portfolio in 2010.

The APIs produced here cover a broad range of therapeutic categories like Anti-ulcerant, Antiseptic, Analgesic/Anti-inflammatory, Antihypertensive to name a few.

The facility is well equipped with Utilities, Quality Controls and Effluent Treatment Plant to successfully deliver these APIs.

Safety being one of the core strengths, there have been no reportable accidents at the Site for several years. The Company has been recognized with various prominent awards on Environment, Health and Safety at State Level. The site is certified for ISO 14001:2015; ISO 45001:2018. Site has also been awarded 5-star rating from State Pollution Control Board for maintaining minimum Particulate Matter in flue gas emitted from Boiler stack.

Over the years, the plant has also implemented various energy conservation projects to reduce energy intensity and minimize the carbon footprint.
