Leaders Driving Change: Sumie Ishii, Chairperson, JOICFP

Biography: Sumie Ishii is Chairperson of the Japanese Organization for International Cooperation in Family Planning (JOICFP) and Executive Committee member of the Global Health and Human Security Program, chaired by Parliamentary Member Keizo Takemi. A strong advocate for sexual and reproductive health and rights, she has been a member of numerous global health taskforces and committees, and was Joint Representative of the CSO Platform for the G7 Ise-Shima Summit.
