The innovative use of frontier technology such as artificial intelligence, drones and blockchains carries significant promise for accelerating progress towards Sustainable Development Goal 3. Indeed, the ability to quickly assess, invest and grow open-source technology solutions shows enormous potential to positively impact the lives of the most vulnerable children. In recent years, the availability of big data on human behaviors combined with environmental measurements has led to great advances in predicting how and where epidemic diseases such as Ebola and Zika spread.
